With an unknown enemy and the fear of backlash from his elitist family, Carter is prepared to give up his happiness. Likewise, in fear of eternal damnation, Theo plans to return to the solitude of his island, leaving his loves behind. Yet when faced with loss, both Carter and Theo will go all the way for their happily ever after.

This trilogy was so unique with its unpredictable characters and their adversities. I enjoyed watching them take on all that challenged them and finally embrace their unorthodox relationship.
