When August Whitley started catching feelings for Poppy Williams, he cut her loose. His first and only life has always been hockey. Playing for the Wyncote Wolves has been a dream come true and he won’t let anything stand between him and his NHL dreams.

Poppy taking off without a word doesn’t sit well with him, however. Just when he tries to move on, he comes face-to-face with her again. And she’s been keeping secrets.

Full disclosure: I don’t love secret baby/pregnancy books. That said, August and Poppy’s story was sweet, steamy, and overall an enjoyable read!
