Review: The Sinner: A Dark College Romance

The Sinner: A Dark College Romance The Sinner: A Dark College Romance by Shantel Tessier
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Easton “Sin” Sinnett and Ellington “Elli” Asher, are students at Barrington University, a prestigious college in Pennsylvania. Set in the same world as The Ritual, Barrington is home to an exclusive, secret society, the Lords, that readies it’s male membership to become the next generation of powerful, if untouchable, elite leaders across the country.

Conversely, women are groomed to serve as arm candy, warm holes, and baby-making machines. Just like plebes, no two women’s experiences are the same. The Sinner is Elli’s story.

My recommendation is to throw out any preconceived notions because you can’t possibly be prepared for this roller coaster. What you can count on is viscerally experiencing every emotion through this twisty tale. I was sad. So very sad. Disgusted. Pissed TF off. Flabbergasted. Tingly. Expect to rinse and repeat these emotions before it’s all said and done.

There are no rainbows. No unicorns. No puppy dogs. There is, however, an intensely emotional story that will feed your dark side, leaving you wrung out and needing a cïgarėttė.
