Tatiana finds herself in Renzo’s sights as he embarks on a path of revenge following the murder of his brother, the heir to the Marchesi throne.

While, superficially, that storyline is similar to any number of mafia romances, what makes City of Thieves different are the compelling characters and their complex backstories.

From the very first page, we’re moved by the pain Tatiana has endured. Her history has shaped her future and formed her into the Ice Empress, as she’s known. Yet as secrets are revealed and the strings being pulled are unraveled, the unlikely duo are drawn toward one another like magnets. And their stories are more entangled than anyone could have expected.

The tale Cora and Catherine have spun is suspenseful and twisty with enough steam to make it sexciting and a HEA that’s gratifying.
