Review: The Seduction of Pretty Lies

The Seduction of Pretty Lies The Seduction of Pretty Lies by Holly Renee
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Following a reprehensible act of sexual assault by one of his closest friends, Frankie’s big brother, Beck, and their close-knit circle, become even more protective of her. Despite harboring feelings for one another for years, Frankie and Olly must keep their attraction a secret or risk Beck feeling betrayed. As the days until Olly leaves for college in California dwindle, their feelings become harder to hide and not acting on it becomes a betrayal of their own happiness. What transpires in book one of the duet are the “pretty lies” Frankie and Olly tell themselves – and everyone around them – in order to keep from disrupting Beck’s expectations.

Push. Pull. Swoon. Angst. Steam. Heart. Break.

I absolutely loved this story despite the soul-crushing cliffhanger. Prepare yourself for a visceral love that will take you on tear-jerking journey and leave you on the edge of your seat (with wet panties thanks to Olly’s filthy mouth).
