My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Determined, even in the face of repeated rejection, Violet Cabot has been in love with Devlin Windsor since she was just 14, if not before.
Falling from grace at 18 after her father is charged with funding domestic terrorïsm, Violet is left alone, penniless.
When the Devil sends his signature invitation to his lair, she has little choice but to accept.
The back-and-forth of the timeline gave me a headache. However, I quite like Violet (even when she was making stupid plays) and Devlin’s depravity is … well, hot.
