My rating: 4 of 5 stars
In the aftermath of the explosion at the church, against all odds, Maeve finds herself face-to-face with the Santorini heir she was contracted to marry.
With their list of enemies growing exponentially, they all board a private plan bound for an undisclosed island until they can make a plan.
During their sabbatical, Maeve is able to get to know each Santorini brother independently.
I loved that Maeve remained just fierce in the second half of the story despite her pregnancy. I do wish, however, that we would have seen more of the growth in her relationships with the brothers. Likewise, it would have been nice to see how they function as a unit.
