When Aubrey stands her ground, she unwittingly paints a target on her back. Enter the bait, Chase “Dare” Darington with his obnoxious charm and panty-dropping smile.
 
I’m still making up my mind about Dare. Now before you assume my hesitation is because of his unrepentant behavior, it’s really not. I am all about an alphahole that sees what he wants, takes it, and makes no apologies. I really struggled with how long Aubrey was in the dark about his true intentions. Moreover, I just didn’t feel the chemistry between them. With Dare a fan favorite, there’s no doubt this a “me” issue. Let me also say that I liked the storyline and that it wasn’t just a cookie cutter bully story.
