Maya Donnelly has sworn off hockey players, if not guys in general, after the destruction her douçhe of an ex caused. When she catches the eye of Easton Blake, captain of the Heston U Hotshots, she is immune to his charms. Yet, he goes all in and never looks back. 
 
I’m a sucker for a “he falls first – and hard” story. Combine that with the forbidden aspect and a hockey hottie? SOLD! There was push and pull, enough unexpected outside drama to keep everything interesting, and plenty of steam to check all of my boxes! PLUS, no unnecessary third-act breakup >> #winning!
