Review: Little Dancer

Little Dancer Little Dancer by Tate Monroe
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

About to take the stage during a rehearsal at the prestigious ballet academy, La Petit Cygne, 19-year old Caroline Astor learns they both her parents were killed in a plane crash.

Despite circumstances keeping him estranged from his son and his family, Clark Astor immediately moves into action upon learning of their untimely death.

I love so many things about Rory and Tate’s writing. But I think what I love most is that their characters’ emotions jump off the page. You know that their connection was undeniable and, as unconventional as it may be, their story wasn’t a story written for the sake of simply being TÄBÓÒ.

“The world is yours and I am simply in your orbit. I may be a planet, but you little dancer, are the goddamn stars.”

PSA: I do not condone this pairing in real life.
