Review: Pick Six

Pick Six Pick Six by Maggie Rawdon
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

While working the room at an event for her museum, Harper finds herself in a bad situation with a drunk and handsy guest. When Alex, her ex-husband’s best friend sees her being accosted, he steps in and things quickly spiral.

With the Seattle Phantom’s infamous defensive end’s public perception already an issue, the incident is spun into a fauxlationship. The problem: there are lingering feelings from a missed opportunity some years back.

Let me just tell you that there was not a single thing I disliked about this book. It was angsty and steamy. There was passion and chemistry. The way Alex unabashedly made his feelings known for Harper was downright swoony. And the trope mashup and unexpected twists made it anything but predictable.

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
