Five years after leaving for Chicago, when Cade and Pippa Jennings lose their mother, Linda, Marigold Evans returns to Sutten Mountain and Jennings Ranch.
Despite the years that have passed, the pain of their breakup is still fresh for Cade and Mare. Yet it’s clear they still love one another deeply. However, there is a lot of pain to sort through, not to mention the literal distance.
Y’all I am so mad at these two for all the years they wasted. BUT, their love is e.v.e.r.y.t.h.i.n.g. I’m talking #relationshipgoals here. Their story is full of emotions. You’re going to feel the feelings, but it will be tempered with a healthy dose of angst and spice, and even a few laughs.
I’m ashamed that this was my first read by Kat, but rest assured, it won’t be the last. I’ve got my clicking finger ready for as soon as the next book in the Sutten Mountain series is up. I mean, we’ve already gotten hints for Pippa’s story and I’m about it.
