Going into this series I was nervous. Knowing that there were two male leads had me worried for the trajectory and my heart. Having now read all three books, I can confidently say that every tear I shed was worth it. Between the heartbreak in Angels to the growth in Souls and the unadulterated love and devotion in Demons, the trilogy has been so full of emotions. I’m still saddened by the trauma Makenna – and even Cal – endured, but I can’t envision any other way for their happily ever after to come together.
Without giving anything away, all I can say is that just because you know the HEA is coming, don’t assume that Delaney won’t break your heart a little more before she pieces it back together.
