Unwanted and starved for attention, Othella Enderson, returns home for the holidays. As is typical, Mayor Glynna Enderson, wants nothing to do with her adopted daughter.

Always astute, Sheriff Noah Vincardi picks up on the fear Othella wears like a second skin and immediately becomes protective.

This was my first SJ Ransom read and it won’t be the last. There’s just enough storyline to override any guilt for this kïnky quickie!
